My Manna Moments

When the children of Israel wandered for so long, God sustained them day by day. Daily there was enough nourishment-in the form of manna*-to get through that day. As I have wandered through the bewilder-ness of life, God has strengthened me by His word. Just enough for that day. This blog is a place to "pass the plate" and share the manna that has sustained my moments. And it's a place to add your insights so we can share the meal together. Bon Appetite. Experienced Teacher

He [Jesus] was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. (parts of Luke 4:1-2 NLT)
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 NASB)

When Jesus taught us to pray, "and lead us not into temptation," (Luke 11:4) he knew what he was talking about.
