My Manna Moments

When the children of Israel wandered for so long, God sustained them day by day. Daily there was enough nourishment-in the form of manna*-to get through that day. As I have wandered through the bewilder-ness of life, God has strengthened me by His word. Just enough for that day. This blog is a place to "pass the plate" and share the manna that has sustained my moments. And it's a place to add your insights so we can share the meal together. Bon Appetite. Looking in the wrong place

"Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?" asked the angels to the women at the tomb on Easter morning.

"Why are you standing there staring into heaven?" asked the angels to the disciples at the ascension.

May God send messengers to redirect me when I, too, have fixed my gaze on where I think He should be.

Oh, yes! How often do I stand looking in the wrong direction! What grace to have messengers redirect me.
